About Telco Community Credit Union

Telco Community Credit Union was formed in 1940 by 51 employees of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph with total opening deposits of $106.50. They wanted an alternative to commercial financial institutions and to provide low interest loans and safe savings vehicles for their fellow employees. As a member-owned cooperative financial institution, the credit union now has over 25,000 members, assets exceeding $133,000,000.00 and has grown to serve all communities in Pierce County, Washington. Telco Community has five branch locations and offers a full array of financial services.

The mission of Telco Community Credit Union is to provide the member-owners of the credit union with high quality, personal financial services at reasonable prices. We will adapt our products and services to changes within the financial marketplace based on educated business decisions. Without sacrificing the financial and organizational stability of the credit union, we are dedicated to providing our community of members a convenient, friendly and knowledgeable place to conduct their financial business.

Membership in Telco Community Credit Union is open to employees of our select employee groups and individuals living or working in Pierce County, Washington.
