File Manager If you are looking for images to add to your web site, click here to select images from Digital Outlook's clip art collection. Click here for other free clip art, or here to purchase photos. Locate the graphic you wish to use and save it on your computer. Upload it by clicking the "Upload" link in the File Manager section. This will not cause the graphic to display on web pages automatically. After they are uploaded, they must be referenced from within a page using an HTML tag, like the <IMG> tag. By the same token, when you add the code for a graphic to a web page, and then upload the new web page, the graphic will not appear just because the code was added to the page. You must also separately upload the graphic. Currently there are three standard Internet formats for graphics: .gif, .jpg and .png. Some .gif, .jpg and .png files may not display properly in some browsers, if certain options are chosen when saving/editing (i.e., JPEG Progressive format option), or if the file is corrupt. Other standard graphics formats such as .bmp and .tif MAY display correctly in some browsers, but WILL NOT display correctly in all browsers. To replace an existing graphic with a new one, edit the page in the CP File Manager. Delete the old graphic from the page and upload the new one using Activedit. Alternatively, you can upload the new graphic with the same name as the old graphic (it will replace the old graphic), or edit the HTML page locally on your machine and upload the graphic. This option requires knowledge of HTML tags. If you need to make changes to your image before uploading it, there are many software applications available, covering a wide range of complexity and price. At http://www.netstudio.com you can download a program that is moderately priced, has many capabilities, and is relatively easy to use. If you upload an image to your web site, and reference it from one of the web pages and it is still not appearing, follow these steps:
